POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Pearl River golf team got its season started in the East Mississippi Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, walking away with a 10th place finish.

Cole Ward (Laurel; Northeast Jones) was Pearl River's top performer, finishing with a two-day score of plus-41.
Brock Craft (Carriere; Pearl River Central) finished with a stroke total of 193 and a plus-49 score for the tournament.
Cort Miley (Carriere; Pearl River Central) ended the tournament with a plus-54 score and Eli Rawls (Picayune; Pearl River Central) had a plus-60.
Cade Hintze (Picayune) wrapped up the tournament with a score of plus-72.
