POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Pearl River basketball's Brooklyn Anderson (Greeneville, Tenn.; North Greene) and Austin Green (Sicklerville, N.J.; Timber Creek Regional) have been named Wildcats of the Week following incredible showings on the court last week.

BROOKLYN ANDERSON
Anderson was nearly unstoppable on the court for the Pearl River women's basketball team last week in a 77-20 victory over Delgado. She played 22 minutes and hauled in a 21-point, 13-rebound double-double. She was 7-for-11 from the field and shot 7-for-9 from the free-throw line. She also had five steals in the contest.

Anderson missed the first part of the season but has been fantastic since returning. She is averaging 6.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, and two steals in six games.

AUSTIN GREEN
Pearl River only played in one game on the week, but Green made the most of it. In 23 minutes of action, Green scored 19 points and hauled in seven rebounds. He was 9-for-10 from the field. He also had three steals and two assists.

Through 15 games, Green is leading the team in points per game with 20.3. Among those who have played at least 10 games, Green leads the Wildcats in rebounding with a 7.8 average.
