144 Pearl River student-athletes earn 2024-2025 MACCC All-Academic recognition
POPLARVILLE, Miss. – The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference recognized 144 Pearl River student-athletes for earning Distinguished or All-State academic recognition.
Student-athletes with a GPA 3.8 or higher earn Distinguished honors, and those with a GPA between 3.25 and 3.79 receive All-State distinction. Forty-five Wildcats were recognized with Distinguished honors and 99 with All-State honors.

2 PRCC programs named MACCC Academic Team of the Year; 11 earn 3.0 or better
POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference recently announced its Academic Teams of the Year, and a pair of Pearl River programs earned the distinction. Men's basketball won the award by finishing the year with a 3.22 GPA and Rodeo took home the award for a second year in a row with a 3.45 GPA.

PRCC Rodeo's Kate Eiland wins National Championship, Jay Rodrigue grabs sixth
CASPER, Wyo. — With the weight of a National Championship hanging in the balance, Kate Eiland (Kentwood, La.) patiently awaited her turn. Thirteen competitors had come and gone, and it was her turn in the championship round of breakaway roping. Needing a 2.7-second run to etch her name into the history books, the Pearl River standout delivered exactly that, securing Pearl River rodeo's first-ever College National Finals Rodeo Championship.
