Eric Meeks joined Pearl River Community College in August 2020 as Coordinator of Compliance and Athletics Assistant.
Meeks works closely with PRCC Director of Athletics, Patrick Ochs, to submit and review National Junior College Athletic Association and Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference compliance documentation such as letters of intent, rosters and handbooks. He also assists with institutional needs for the Athletics Department.
Prior to his arrival at Pearl River, Meeks worked at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in various positions such as Student Support Representative and Financial Aid Advisor. He also spent time with Computer Programs and Systems Incorporated (CPSI) in Mobile, Ala., helping install computer systems for small, rural hospitals.
Meeks earned his Master's Degree in Management from Faulkner University in Dec. 2019.
Meeks played baseball for the late Mike Jacobs at the University of Mobile from 2009-10. He also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. Before his arrival at Mobile, Meeks played baseball at Bishop State Community College from 2006-08.
A Semmes, Ala. native, Meeks enjoys spending time with family and watching sporting events.
He's an avid University of Alabama and Atlanta Braves fan.
Meeks and his wife, (head softball coach) Christie, have two children, Connor and Olivia. They also have two dogs, Deuce and Sandi.
