Pearl River CC

Dylan Dunaway is entering his fourth year as Pearl River's Sports Information Director during the 2024-25 academic year. He was hired as the Assistant Director of Communications for Athletics in May 2021 and was named Sports Information Director July 2021.

Dunaway, along with Assistant Director of Digital Services Richard Gleber, is responsible for producing content to promote Pearl River Community College's athletic teams and their student-athletes. A few of Dunaway's responsibilities include managing social media presence, statistics, press releases, and game day operations. He also maintains the school's website, PRCCAthletics.com.

In his first year at Pearl River, Dunaway took home four College Public Relations Association of Mississippi (CPRAM) awards as well as one national award from Two-Year Sports Information Directors of America (2YSIDA). In 2022-23 grabbed six awards from CPRAM, including two first-place designations. He added five more CPRAM awards in 2023-24, earning one first place designation.

Dunaway graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi in July 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management and Business Administration. Before transferring to Southern Miss, he attended PRCC for two years, where he worked as a student worker in the Communications for Athletics department. He was the public address announcer for PRCC Baseball in the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Dunaway is a 2017 graduate of Poplarville High School.

A Pearl River County native, Dunaway grew up in Poplarville. He is a sports enthusiast who attributes his love for sports to his late grandfather, Jack Head.

Dunaway and his wife Emma married in Dec. 2021. They have one dog, Milo.
