Pearl River CC

Morgan Brown joined Pearl River Community College in October 2023 as an Advisement Specialist following a career in coaching. Brown was named Assistant to the Director of Athletics in July 2025.

 

Before Pearl River, Brown was an assistant women's soccer coach at Southern Miss in 2023. Prior to joining the Golden Eagle staff, Brown served as an assistant coach at West Alabama for four seasons. During her tenure in Livingston, the Tigers went 35-18-10 overall and 27-11-4 in Gulf South Conference play. Brown helped coach nine All-Gulf South Conference selections and six D2CCAA All-South Region players.

 

She helped guide West Alabama to a spot in the Division II National poll on October 29, 2019, climbing to No. 24 in the rankings. The Tigers were riding a nine-game winning streak at the time. West Alabama made three semifinal appearances in the GSC Championships while Brown was on staff.

 

Brown played collegiate soccer at North Alabama, featuring as a defender. A defender as a player, Brown finished her career with five assists in 46 games for the Lions and served as captain of the team her senior year. She was named to the GSC Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2015 and 2016.

 

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Science with an emphasis in Mathematics from UNA, Brown served as an assistant coach at Mars Hill Bible School in 2018-19. She earned a Master's Degree in Sports Managament from West Alabama in 2025. Brown is a Pleasant Hill, Ohio native.
