Pearl River concludes fall season at Murray State Rodeo

MURRAY, Ky. — The Pearl River rodeo team bounced back from last week's tough showing, placing fifth in the men's division and second in the women's division at the Murray State Rodeo.

The rodeo concluded the fall season for the Wildcat rodeo team.

Kason Davis (Poplarville) continued his hot streak by placing second in calf roping with a 21.9 average.

Ashley Henderson (Pensacola, Fla.; J.M. Tate) averaged a 5.5 en route to winning breakaway roping.

Sarah Booty (Osyka; Amite County) claimed fourth in goat tying

In team roping, Davis finished tied for second place while Mason Theriot (Poplarville) tied for third place.
