Pearl River rodeo shows out in first rodeo of spring

MERIDIAN, Miss. — In its first event of the spring season, the Pearl River rodeo team turned in a great performance at East Mississippi's rodeo at the Lauderdale County Agri-Center. The men's team finished in fifth place and the women's team took home a fourth-place finish.

Mason Theriot (Poplarville) and Kason Davis (Poplarville) both finished among the top three in calf roping. Theriot finished in first place with 120 total points and Davis finished in third with 110 points.
