MONTICELLO, Ark. — The Pearl River rodeo team had a rough go at the Arkansas-Monticello rodeo. The men's team could not register any points, and the women's team tallied 50 to earn sixth.
MEN'S RESULTS
In men's action, Cayden Roland (Childersburg, Ala.; Fayetteville) and Cole Lansford (Childersburg, Ala.; Fayetteville) teamed up but were not part of PRCC's team selection. The duo registered a time of 12.7 to sit tied for fourth place ahead of the short-go round. Unfortunately, they did not register a time during the short go. They still registered 50 points for their individual totals.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
Molli Rae Kinchen (Tickfaw, La.; Ponchatoula) made it back to the short-go round after a time of 15.12 seconds in her opening round of barrel racing. She followed it up with a time of 20.61 seconds in her championship round ride to finish ninth in the event.
Erin McLaughlin (Bunnell, Fla.) was PRCC's lone point-earner. She started off the weekend with a time of 8.8 seconds in goat tying to advance to the short-go round. Her time of 8.6 seconds in her championship-round appearance placed her in fifth place and earned her 50 points.
