MURRAY, Ky. — The Pearl River rodeo team competed in its final rodeo of the fall at Murray State. The women's team finished in eighth with 125 points and the men's team did not place.
Karrigan Cagley (Kentwood, La.) had a blazing time of 2.3 seconds in the first round of breakaway roping to take first place into the championship round. Unfortunately, she couldn't register a time in the second run to finish with 80 total points.
Kate Eiland (Kentwood, La.) started goat tying with a 7.3 second round to sit in second place going into the championship round. Like Cagley, she did not earna. time in the second round to finish with 45 points.
Tyler Housley (Brandon; McLaurin Attendence Center) competed as an individual and finished in third place in bull riding.
