POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The back-to-back MACCC champion Pearl River women's basketball team has unveiled its 2025–26 schedule as it enters a new era under head coach Shanae Govan Williams.
The Wildcats tip off the season in Carthage, Texas, Nov. 7–8 with matchups against Kilgore and Panola. They'll travel to ASU-Mid South on Nov. 15 before returning home to host Calhoun (Nov. 17) and Hinds in a non-conference contest (Nov. 22).
Pearl River then begins a four-game road swing, taking on Calhoun (Dec. 4), Shelton State (Dec. 8), Gulf Coast State (Dec. 12), and Pensacola State (Dec. 13). The Wildcats close out non-conference play by hosting Shelton State on Jan. 5.
Conference play opens Jan. 12 at home against East Central, followed by a trip to Holmes on Jan. 15. PRCC continues its league slate with East Mississippi at home (Jan. 19), Holmes on the road (Jan. 22), Itawamba at home (Jan. 26), and Coahoma away (Jan. 29).
February features a balanced mix of home and away action. The Wildcats host Northeast (Feb. 2) before traveling to Northwest (Feb. 5). They welcome Co-Lin to Marvin R. White Coliseum (Feb. 9), visit Meridian (Feb. 16), and return home for a rivalry showdown with Jones (Feb. 19). PRCC then heads to Summit to battle Southwest (Feb. 23).
The Wildcats wrap up the regular season with back-to-back rivalry games — hosting Hinds (Feb. 26) and archrival Gulf Coast (Mar. 2).
