POPLARVILLE, Miss. — The Pearl River women's golf team took 12th in the Jefferson State Spring Invitational, shooting 305-over as a team.

Maya Morelos (Ruston, La.; Grambling) was PRCC's top finisher, earning 37th place. She shot plus-56 across both rounds. Gracie Allgood (Laurel; West Jones) finished in 43rd place with a two-round score of 68-over.

Ashlynn Goss (Picayune; Ignite Christian Academy) took 50th with a score of 85-over. Lilian Sanzin (Saucier; Harrison Central) finished in 52nd with a score of 96-over.

Elizabeth Purvis (Carriere; Pearl River Central) rounded out the Wildcat competitors with a score of 105-over and a 53rd-place finish.
