BREWTON, Ala. — The Pearl River Wildcats had a day of ups and downs Saturday when they defeated Bevill State College 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-20) but dropped their following game to Coastal Alabama East 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-22). 

Head coach Haley Chatham liked what she saw from her team in the first game and also liked the fight her team showed against Coastal Alabama. 

"I think we did some really good things and had some high points," Chatham said. 

"I don't think they gave and really gave strong effort in the last set against Coastal Alabama East."

UP NEXT 

The Wildcats end their season with two more road games. 

They take on Louisiana College Wednesday and take on Bevill State next Tuesday.
