Bay Minette, Ala. — The Pearl River volleyball team closed a busy week in Bay Minette, Ala., with a win against Coastal Alabama-South (25-21, 22-25, 28-26, 25-11).

The Wildcats (13-12) won a tight first set 25-21 over the homestanding Coyotes (5-17). Coastal Alabama-South rallied to take set two from the Wildcats 25-22.

Pearl River regrouped and won a hard-fought third set 28-26. The River left no doubt and jumped out to a 10-6 lead in the fourth set before two runs helped the Wildcats secure the match with a fourth-set victory, 25-11.
