PRCC cheer announces 3 clinic opportunities
The Pearl River Community College’s two-time National Champion cheerleaders announced three upcoming dates for aspiring Wildcats to hone their skills.
PRCC will host its annual Cheerleading College Prep Clinic on Sept. 24, Oct. 22 and Dec. 17 from 3-5:30 p.m. inside historic Shivers Gymnasium. The clinics are for cheerleaders in 9th grade and older.

2-time National Champion PRCC cheer to host future and past Wildcat cheerleaders
POPLARVILLE, Miss. – The two-time UCA National Champion Pearl River Community College cheer team will host two great on-campus events this fall.
Aspiring cheerleaders will have a chance to learn from the Pearl River Community College cheer team during the Little Wildcats Cheer Clinic on Oct. 7. Our Little Wildcat cheerleaders will perform before our home game against Jones College on Oct. 12.

POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Francis Herrin has been an unwavering supporter of Pearl River Community College Athletics for nearly 70 years. On July 28, PRCC will present him with the Spirit of a Wildcat Award at the Hall of Fame ceremony at Hollywood Casino & Resort in Bay St. Louis.

Dedication pays off for PRCC’s newest Hall of Famer, Jim Murphy
POPLARVILLE, Miss. — Finding someone who worked harder than Jim Murphy during his time at Pearl River presents quite the challenge. The Shelbyville, Kentucky, native spent many long nights at the batting cages, where he'd even pull up his truck and turn the lights on to see to hit into the early morning hours.
