Wildcats bounce back in win over DME

NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Pearl River Wildcats bounced back in a big way Friday when they powered past DME Sports Academy 93-80.

The win comes after the Wildcats (5-3 overall) dropped their first game of the week to No. 4 Northwest Florida.

"We scheduled this Florida trip to work on ourselves as individuals and as a team," PRCC coach Scotty Fletcher said. "I thought this tournament was beneficial for us overall. We know that we have to get better at team defense and team rebounding as we prepare for a rugged conference schedule. It's always good to head into the break with a win, and I could tell our girls were a little fatigued with this being our 4th game in seven days."

Mychala "Pooh" Linzy (Clinton) led the way for the Wildcats with 19 points.
