66 Pearl River athletes and three teams recognized by NJCAA for their academic success
July 24, 2024POPLARVILLE, Miss. – Pearl River is proud to announce 66 student-athletes and eight teams were recognized by the National Junior College Athletic Association for their academic success. Teams with a combined grade point average of 3.0 or above were recognized as a 2023-24 NJCAA Academic Team. The Pearl River teams receiving this distinction are women’s soccer (3.81), volleyball (3.45), softball (3.44), baseball (3.36), men’s soccer (3.34), women’s basketball (3.28), golf (3.02) and men’s basketball (3.01). -
Pearl River's Hillard to participate in 2024 NCAA College Basketball Academy

March 26, 2024CASPER, Wyo. – The Pearl River women’s basketball magical season came to an end after a hard-fought contest against Eastern Arizona in the first round of the NJCAA DI National Tournament in the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, Wyo. on Tuesday. In their first NJCAA Tournament appearance since 2003, the Wildcats battled in a back-and-forth contest before the Gila Monsters pulled away in the fourth quarter for a 56-45 win. -
